I think this is going to be the start of  whole new love affair

I thought I would get back into the swing of things by listing some new items on etsy .
I actually made these brooches a little while ago but never got round to listing them in any of my shops so I thought it was about time
The images that are on the brooches are parts of my other linocut prints that didn’t quite work out the way I had planned for instance a smudge of the paper or a fingerprint or just a not perfect print that other parts of the print were perfect so instead of wasting all the paper I thought I would up cycle them into something else a vwalla original art brooches!
If you are interested in any of these items please follow the link to my etsy store where you will find these and many other handprinted letterpress & linocut items

Myself and my wonderful friend & Grace Garton of Little Black Crow have taken over the front window of Rebecca Roth gallery In salamanca art Center

We have go a bit Christmas with my paper linocut buntings, letterpress gift tags and large handprinted and sewn felt decorations and Grace has been madly knitting Christmas baubles and making lots of little festive dolls.

I hope you enjoy the photos

Finally I have gotten around to posting my Tasmanian Native bird series on etsy for sale, each print is of a limited run of 70 all hand carved original linocut prints, printed on my antique table to letterpress machine, once these have all sold they won’t be available again so please check it out if you are interested.

This series will also be available on the Australia online store Made it as well in the next couple of days

I have been very slack with sharing news here on tumbler  and lots of stuff has happened over the past couple of months in my world of printing, the most important in my mind is I have finally found a suitable studio for me to work in  after a very long search over the past 2 years with many set backs but now I have a beautiful work space beside the sea no less where all of my printing type and presses and other stuff can live so my family don’t have to wake up every morning to the small of ink and turpentine.

I hope you enjoy the photos I have shared with you
